Before you can start potty training your child, you need to be able to tell him when he has a wet or dirty diaper. Many young children will ignore this action and start telling you when they want to use the potty. You should also make sure that you can set aside at least three months or more where you and your child can work together. Don’t be discouraged if it may take them longer to learn. Many children cannot learn until they are three years old.
