Most buyers at estate sales are simply detached from the reality that the trinkets for sale were once owned by someone. They don’t think of it any differently than shopping at a retail store, flea market, or garage sale and getting a bargain. Keep your mind busy trying to find a good deal, haggling, searching dusty corners for objects of desire or something you can easily resell and you’ll forget where they came from.
Some people consider it a perfectly eco-friendly way to recycle! Instead of this individual’s valuable assets going to the dump, buyers are eager to own them and make them their own. Wouldn’t you expect that after you’re gone, all your possessions will continue to be loved by your family and others? With this in mind, you shouldn’t let the thought of owning a deceased’s tea set overwhelm you, but embrace it and proudly display each cup and saucer!
