What is the latest exercise routine?

What is the newest exercise routine? As a personal trainer, I always try to keep up to date with the latest workout routines available. I’ve been training since, well, I don’t want to reveal my age, but let’s just say I’m very familiar with the retro step class! I’ll go over some of my new favorite exercise routines!

Sometimes training exercises can be just the latest training fad. It may last a little while, or it may become all the rage! Being fond of martial arts, he had trained with a very popular type of cardio kickboxing in California. That madness caught on, and it’s kind of stagnant! The step class was very popular in the 1980s, and now they have transformed that step class to make it new and exciting. However, you will see the term “retro step” in some gyms. This refers to the step aerobics classes that they used to teach in the 1980s.

Two years ago, I went to one of the great fitness conventions. You can walk around and check out the latest workout routines, as well as new fitness products. I saw these big bodybuilder type guys doing a synchro workout on little miniature trampolines. It sounded like fun, but that exercise craze never caught on.

Some of the popular exercise crazes that have started to catch on this year have been hula hooping, hip hop, power yoga, boxing, and even hula dance. But, others that have become super popular are in the field of video games. Many people have reported that Wii training not only works, but they have said that it is really fun! Personally, I haven’t tried all the different workouts that Wii offers, but since I love boxing, I gave it a try and it was actually a lot of fun.

TRX training is the newest exercise routine that people really like, which is suspension training. It is used as a system on its own and is sometimes incorporated into some bootcamp style training routines.

Crossfit has also become very popular, but I feel like it is not for everyone. Crossfit incorporates many different exercises, which can really be a lot of fun. It even includes some gymnastic-like moves like handstand and L sit. It’s a great workout! It’s used by a lot of police and firefighters, and it can be really intense!

I’m excited to see what new trend 2011 brings for the ultimate in workout routines!
