You need to make money on the Internet – call for caution!

Before someone can be successful in this life, they will have to go through the learning process. This learning process can be smooth or rough. I want to use this medium to tell people about my experience of needing to earn money online.

My paid job is nothing to write home about because I barely pay rent on my house and pay utility bills. We can’t eat well at home, not to mention my children’s school fees that are crying out to be paid.

I was totally dejected and frustrated! My wife had just recovered from major surgery not too long ago and this was happening to me. I was thinking of moving to the suburbs when I noticed a small ad in a local newspaper headlined “Learn how to make money online.”

I sold the Pentium II computer my kids use with a few other items I can sell and subscribed to the eBook. After reading the ebook, I found out many ways one can earn money on the web. Some of the ways are:

affiliate marketing

paid surveys

pay per click ads

Sale of goods and services and many others

I opted for pay-per-click ads and paid surveys because I felt they require little start-up capital. I went to open a home account, get online, open a Liberty Reserve account and also sign up for three survey sites as well as three pay per click sites. I started working online and my morale is very high and with one goal in mind, make money online fast.

The pay per click sites I signed up for offered fantastic rewards ranging from $0.01 to $5 per click, but I was limited to getting to a certain level before I could redeem my money, except I upgraded! Paid survey sites didn’t help either as I need to upgrade too.

After much thought I decided to forego the paid survey and instead focus on the pay per click sites which I thought had generated about $2,678 with $139 to upgrade, €16,700 with €159 to upgrade, and $16.79 with $45 to upgrade.

I decided to go with the minimum which is $16.79 with $45 to upgrade because of how much I have in my Liberty Reserve account so I can hit the minimum paypoint of $75 quickly and more clicks around $25 per day. I then went to the upgrade page and selected Liberty Reserve as my upgrade method. I was directed to the payment page on the Liberty Reserve site and after filling in the required information and waiting for an update, I got a message that the transaction was not successful. To my amazement, when I checked my Liberty Reserve account, my money was wiped out. I got scammed! All efforts to trace where my money went have been unsuccessful. But at the end of it all, Liberty Reserve asked me to install a plugin that will prevent it from happening in the future, as the plugin will indicate if I’m on the wrong site and whenever you want to transact with Liberty Reserve, you shouldn’t open any other website in the same browser.

Remember I told you my situation. I was completely down but I have to keep going because now I am beyond desperate to make money on the web. This desperation led me to get scammed again by another person I met in a public cafe who said they wanted to help me.

At the end of it all, I met a good and trustworthy person who got me through. Live! It has started paying off and I know I will be a household name very soon. We all have to start somewhere and somehow, it’s quite unfortunate that many people learn the hard way what not to do online and as such give up early enough and never get to experience the joy of success online. I want to say here that you must not let this discourage you; earning money on the web is quite interesting!
