Although I am a huge fan of cards, I cannot reserve a night to play poker with my friends and family because we all have very busy schedules. I miss those nights when we played poker for hours. Nothing can be compared to sitting down with your friends for a nice evening of cards, reminiscing about old times and fun memories, drinking a few beers and eating some sandwiches. Personally, I find this to be the best way to enjoy my friends. However, when this is not possible, I turn to online card games, my second favorite activity.

There are even people who can play two or three card games online at the same time. I can only admire such dedication.
When you play online, you can still make new friends. Online card games have the opportunity to chat via text message, so you can talk to the people you are playing with. Using this chat is great because you are not face to face and you do not get nervous about meeting strangers. Also, you can pretend to be someone you are not and no one will question you. If you start to feel uncomfortable or get bored with the game, you can leave whenever you want. Playing card games online has the advantages of playing cards head-to-head without the downside of commitment and effort. However, no matter how good online card games are, nothing beats a nice night of poker with your old friends sharing memories and having a few drinks.
