How to make Taco Soup

With the weather getting cooler I like to have nice hot meals. Taco soup is one of my favorite things to make on days like this. Not only is it quick and easy, but it also makes great food.

Ingredients:

1 pound hamburger

1 can of chicken broth

1 cup of water

1 can of Mexican corn

1 can of black beans

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 8 oz package shredded Cheddar cheese

1 8-ounce cup sour cream

1 bag of Fries

Preparation:

Brown burger meat in large skillet over medium heat. Chop the meat as it browns. When fully cooked, drain excess fat and place burger meat in a large pot. Next, open your can of black beans and pour them into a bowel. Take a fork and mash the beans a bit. Do not drain the beans because it will take away the flavor. Once you’ve mashed up your media order them in the kettle with your burger meat. Then open your cans of Mexican corn and chicken broth and add them to your cauldron with your burger and black beans. Next, add your cup of water, taco seasoning mix, and ranch seasoning mix. Once you have these ingredients in your kettle, stir everything together. Now bring the soup to a boil. Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for about 10 minutes. For soup over Frito’s in individual bowls. Garnish with desired amount of sour cream and cheese.
