Those who are serious about their fishing can tell you that you are only as good as the rod you use. I am referring of course to those who are dedicated to fly fishing. So the question is, what type of rod is the best to use? In my research, I found that telescopic fishing rods are hands down the best type of fly fishing rod. Many anglers who have used these extraordinary rods, also known as travel rods, have found them to be practical and easy to use in both fresh and salt water. They are, without a doubt, some of the most affordable, high-quality, high-performance rods available today.
One of the great features of these practical rods is their portability. This is the main reason why they are commonly known as travel fishing rods. They are designed to shrink to a small size and then expand to a much longer size once they are reconnected. Telescopic fishing rods can range anywhere from ten to twenty or sometimes even thirty feet in length when fully extended. However, when you collapse one of these big bars, they can be as small as a foot and a half long. The reason they can be broken down to such a drastically smaller size is because of the many small sections they are broken into. This makes them much easier to travel with when traveling by bus, car, or even on a bike than the commonly used two-piece bars.
