Gay Bars in Coventry

Coventry is a large city located in the West Midlands in England. Although the gay scene in Coventry is relatively small, you can still find some great places to go on a night out with your friends. There are currently two gay bars in Coventry, one on Short Street and one on Swanswell Street. Coventry is a beautiful city and it’s great for a night out. Although the gay scene is quite small, there are plenty of gay friendly places in Coventry, so finding a place to go with your friends shouldn’t be too difficult.

The first of the Coventry gay bars to be found on Short Street is Rainbows, which has been around for around 10 years. The clubs play a variety of music including pop, house, R&B, and of course commercial dance. Prices are very average for the area and you can really have a great night out at this Coventry gay bar. They have regular special guests and great DJ’s on the weekends. The bar has a late license and is open until 3am on weekends and until midnight during the week. They are open 7 days a week and offer a chill out night on Mondays.

The second of Coventry’s gay bars is located on Swanswell Street and is called McGuigans. This Coventry gay bar is a wine bar and offers its clientele a sophisticated atmosphere with great decor and a great drinks menu. This would be the perfect place to start and have a few drinks with your friends before heading to Rainbow (the club on Short Street).
