Amboseli Safaris are widespread in Kenya and lead to the Amboseli National Park. This is one of the best wildlife refuges in Kenya and is located in the Loitoktok district in the largest province (Rift Valley). If you expect to enter Kenya through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you can follow the Nairobi / Namanga route based on the Nairobi Arusha highway. It is two hundred and forty kilometers away and you enter the park through the Meshanani Gate. The other route is still from Nairobi via Emali about two hundred and twenty-eight kilometers on the Nairobi / Mombasa highway. If you hope to enter Kenya through the city of Mombasa, the easiest way to get to Amboseli National Park is through Tsavo West National Park and the Olkelunyiet Gate.
Some tour operators in Kenya organize tsavo safaris by air and planes land on the Empusel Gate airstrip. There are other airstrips a long way off, mainly in the town of Namanga and at Kilimanjaro Buffalo Lodge. At just three hundred ninety point two six square kilometers, Amboseli is not a very large reserve. This does not mean that there are not things to do and see.
