The Yin and the Yang of the strokes

I was fascinated by brain researcher Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor’s YouTube video. She somehow managed to study her own blow as it happened. She felt her brain functions fade one by one. First the speech, the movement and then the understanding of her vanished leaving her totally narrated by the experience.

Eight years later he has made a full recovery and is giving talks about his experience. Her YouTube video of her has to be seen to fully understand a disease that strikes fear into the hearts of every adult over the age of 40.

As a holistic energy worker, I have a clear advantage over the average doctor dealing with a stroke. I can trust a pair of clairvoyant eyes who calls herself Selvi Ratnam, a 42-year-old schoolteacher.

Selvi’s clairvoyant ability began to flourish after her teens. She literally began to see things that ordinary people couldn’t see. She could see the colorful aura of a human being. To her, the whole world resembles the colors of the rainbow. Sick people would have very dark spots on their organs.

When this ability began to make its appearance, Selvi realized that not everyone could see what she saw and began to think that something was wrong with her.

It was only when he met a Sufi teacher later in his life that he realized his clairvoyant ability.

Somewhere on the shelves in my study, I have more than ten books written by a monk named Lobsang Rampa, a controversial Tibetan who in his later years walked in the body of a white man through an ability known as transmigration.

One of the books was titled The Third Eye. It is an account of how he underwent an operation that opened his third eye, the hidden eye that he can see beyond his physical pair of eyes.

When I finally met Selvi during my healing journey, I was literally jumping with excitement to work with someone who could see beyond human physical limits and perceive the dimensions that were revealed in Lobsang’s books.

My forte was kundalini and chakras and Selvi could see kundalini awakening and chakra conditions quite easily.

Sehkar, a Reiki Master, introduced me to Selvi and we eventually started working together at Paru Amma’s holistic center in Kajang, Malaysia, before going to Kelang to work as a team for almost five years.

During our aura reading sessions, Selvi would tell me what she saw and I would take notes on an aura chart. Eventually, a pattern began to emerge. On most women, Selvi would see gray or dark on the left side of her body. And she would see the same gray or dark on the right side of a man’s body.

Darkness in the aura indicates an absence of life force. And it is usually the precursor of the disease. When a person’s aura is totally dark, illness or death is about to occur.

Yin refers to the feminine energy which is more emotional in nature and refers to the left side of the body. And Yang refers to the masculine energy that is more aggressive and refers to the right side of the body.

Every man or woman has Yin and Yang aspects. Although, of course, we have seen men who are feminine in nature and we have seen women who behaved in a masculine manner.

The more emotionally distressed a woman was, the darker the left side of her body would be. It was the same for the man. If he was emotionally distraught, her left side would also be very dark.

In one particular case, we told a client in her early 30s that she had a very dark aura on her left side. And I asked her if she was experiencing any numbness.

Numbness is often one of the first signs of an impending stroke. She said that she was just getting started on her hand. I then asked her about her emotional history and in the ensuing conversation, she admitted that she was sexually and emotionally abused when she was very young and that she was still emotionally traumatized by that incident.

We got her to start a process known as emotional release and we ended it by asking her to forgive the perpetrators and to forgive herself for feeling guilty. As she did so, she felt a surge of energy up her left arm and Selvi could see the darkness receding from her to be replaced by the blue color indicating that her health was returning to her arm.

As we continued to work on forgiving herself and her perpetrators, more darkness left her left side and a beautiful blue and green aura appeared. By the end of that session, you will have reflected the beautiful colors of the rainbow. And the number was gone.

We often find in our healing sessions that forgiveness is one of the most powerful healing tools available to us. Through the process of sincere forgiveness, surges of energy in the form of white light are produced which allow the affected part of the body to regain its normal life force. This explains how the numbness or the absence of vital force disappeared.

The client was told that continuing to forgive the perpetrator was important. If she were to return to the emotional spiral of pain and victimization, she would revert to her old pain body, which would eventually result in darkness on her left or yin side of her body. Eventually, that would result in a stroke.

On the other hand, when Selvi sees someone who is very stressed, who is always in a hurry to get things done, or worried about business deadlines, or the future, her aura on the right or yang side would be very dark – regardless of if that person is male or female.

It is quite common for most businessmen to have this type of aura, although the typical female CEO or top performer is also affected. Stress does not discriminate between genders. Both men and women are equally affected and succumb to stress.

In these types of cases, in addition to the emotional release process, we usually advise these ambitious type A personalities to take a break or change their profession or be more realistic in their goals. Being alive and healthy is preferable to being stressed and a prime candidate for a stroke.

At the end of the day, most corporate types are beginning to reevaluate their life goals and purposes. Chasing promotion or millions living life in the fast lane cannot make up for the debilitation of a stroke. There is an old saying, we ruin our health by chasing money. Then we spend all that money to recover the health that we ruined.

So listen. Take some time, try to live as balanced a life as possible. Focus on the little things in life – listen to the sound of running water. Go bowling. Practice tai chi. Paint. Listen to music. Smile. Laughter. Play with your children. Plant flowers. Love yourself and love everyone. And you will end up healthier and happier.
